My name is João Otávio Peri, born in 2005, and I am a philosophy student at UFSC, in Brazil. I am a person of many shifting interests, however philosophy has rooted itself in my life ever since I’ve met it during my high-school years. My ultimate goal with philosophy is to turn my interest of it into something that I can give back to others, and to do that I will do my best to become a professor!

I ONFIL (National Philosophy Olympiad)
2024
The first national philosophy olympiad in Brazil! It took place in 2024 and I was awarded the silver medal.
XXXIII International Philosophy Olympiad
2025
The 33rd International Philosophy Olympiad took place in 2025, in Bari, Italy. It brought together students from more than 50 countries. In it, I was awarded an honorable mention!
