Viktoriya Khrissidi

Hi! My name is Viktoriya Khrissidi, a 19-year-old student from Kazakhstan pursuing my undergraduate studies at the University of Hong Kong. I am majoring in mathematics and minoring in political science. Right now I am particularly interested in exploring Chinese political philosophy, especially Legalism and Daoism, fascinated by the contrasting pragmatism of the former and the harmonious naturalism of the latter. Beyond acadmics, I am a big fan of photography and detective stories of all kinds. Can’t count how many times I have watched Sherlock and read The Murders in the Rue Morgue. I am very grateful to be a part of the Philosium! As Vice-chair of Communications and Outreach, I’m eager to facilitate dialogue, amplify diverse voices, and connect ideas across borders.
