Patrick Steffens

My name is Patrick Steffens, 18 years old, and I am from Liechtenstein – the small principality between Austria and Switzerland. I am currently studying at the only high school in Liechtenstein, the Gymnasium in Vaduz. Because I very much liked philosophy classes in school, I decided to participate at the Philosophy Olympiad. Another guy from my school and I managed to qualify for the IPO 2024 – the first time in history, Liechtenstein participated! We were by far the smallest country there, but going to Helsinki was a wonderful experience and I am looking forward to experience similar things in Bari 2025. Besides my interest in philosophy, I am fascinated by the ancient times and the Latin language, literature and a lot more of cultural excesses of the human being. My free time passion is sports – I love skiing, playing table tennis and I am a football referee.
