Ema Arévalo

I am a 16 year old Spanish-Uruguayan student who is interested in different areas such as Arts, Science, and Technology, but recently, and thanks to High School I have found another interest: Philosophy. Considering it as the expression of diversity through the art of thinking, I believe that Philosophy is a journey of construction of perspectives and the manifestation of subjectiveness through each individual’s interpretation of the world. Based on my experience taking part in youth movements such as Design for Change, I consider that its diffusion is of great importance for today’s world, especially for the youngest generations like mine since it enhances the development of our critical thinking and the reflection and expression of our opinions.
